In Mikro Livadi Restaurant the culinary creations follow the circle of nature that’s why ingredients and dishes change according to season. The dishes are made using high quality ingredients mostly produced in the area. We put these ingredients together and add only Cretan olive oil by selected suppliers.
You will not find imaginative recipes here but you will definitely appreciate high quality ingredients. Olive oil has a special place in our kitchen. Some of our typical dishes are:
Moussaka, dolmadakia (vine leaves stuffed with rice) and stuffed courgette flowers cooked in the oven, grilled kaltsounakia (pastries) with 10 different kinds of herbs or xinomizithra cheese and lemon peel, eggplant and veal in the oven, fried potatoes in olive oil, marinated artichokes, pork with sun-dried tomatoes, veal steak, grilled burgers, omelet with avronies (wild greens) and asparagus, snails in tomato sauce and courgettes, galaktoboureko (semolina custard pastry with syrup) και sfakianes pites (Cretan cheese pancake with honey).
