An outdoor environmentally friendly salt-water pool was created at the Mikro Livadi Special Lodges in 2022. It offers blissfully salt water with almost the same level of salt as the Aegean sea. A completely new water purification process involving filtering and modern salt electrolysis ensures the salt water’s optimum cleansing, which lowers intensity of maintenance and reduces the use of chemicals. The pool is equipped with high quality, high efficiency pumps and filters with glass filter media. The glass filter media is an ecological, recycled and recyclable product that reduces the environmental impact of water treatment. It does not require flocculants and it prevents the appearance of biofilm and chloramines.
